TRAINING & INTERNSHIP
Professional training with us
- Electronics technician for automation technology/tool mechanic
Your training
The professional training course lasts 3.5 years. For the first 18 months until part 1 of your final examination, your training will take place with our cooperation partner, ABB in Heidelberg. The training is based on the traditional dual training system, taking place both at vocational college and in the company. You will attend vocational college until you have passed the examination.

DUAL UNIVERSITY STUDIES
Our dual programs of study
- Mechanical engineering, specializing in construction
- Electrical engineering, specializing in automation
Your dual program of study
The course lasts 3 years. You will alternate between the usual practical and theoretical periods. Remuneration is based on the IGM union’s collective agreement.
